Pass the Plantain: Home, Served Warm A slow paced, family-style dinner with good food, soul music and good people, hosted by Fafa and MsCi. Bring a small drink to share: put your name on the bottle, and if it isn't finished, it waits for the next gathering. Wear your socks, we're sitting on the floor.
Pass the Plantain: Home, Served Warm
Hosted by Fafa and MsCi
Come sit, eat like home, and leave knowing some history and some new people.
This is a family-style dinner for anyone who wants to be in a room with good music, good food and good people, in a slow-paced, cozy environment.
Plantain is the common thread: one fruit, three ways.
Then we drink a warm soup together , while Fafa tells you what is in it and why it is good for you. We’d explore conversations of how food connects us beyond eating.
The wine tradition: please bring a small drink to share, and we will drink the wine in turns. Put your name on the bottle. If it isn't finished, we keep it for the next gathering, because this won't be the last one. At every event we highlight a bottle and the person behind it.
The music is calm, warm soul food vibes. The dress is casual, and please come in your socks, because we are sitting on some blankets
