Pharmacy Consultation If you receive a positive chlamydia or gonorrhoea result, CHECK’D can help connect you with one of our partner pharmacies for a confidential consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. During the consultation, the healthcare professional will review your result, discuss your symptoms and relevant medical history, and advise you on the appropriate next steps. This may include confirmatory testing, treatment or referral to another healthcare provider, where appropriate. Medication is not automatically provided following a positive rapid test result. Any treatment will be determined by the healthcare professional following their clinical assessment. Your consultation is handled confidentially and without judgement, helping you access appropriate care as quickly and safely as possible. A positive rapid test is not a confirmed diagnosis. Always follow the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.

Important Information & Terms By requesting or attending a pharmacy consultation through CHECK’D, you acknowledge and agree that: CHECK’D facilitates access to the consultation but does not itself provide medical consultations, diagnoses, prescriptions or treatment. Pharmacy consultations are provided by appropriately qualified healthcare professionals operating through participating pharmacies or healthcare providers. The healthcare professional is independently responsible for assessing you and determining whether treatment, confirmatory testing or further medical attention is appropriate. A CHECK’D rapid test is a screening test. Reactive or positive results may require confirmation using an appropriate laboratory or healthcare-provider testing pathway. A negative result does not completely exclude infection, particularly where testing has taken place during a relevant window period or the test has not been performed according to the instructions. You must provide the healthcare professional with complete and accurate information, including relevant symptoms, medications, allergies, pregnancy status where applicable, medical conditions and other information requested during the consultation. CHECK’D does not guarantee that a consultation will result in a prescription or that any particular medication or treatment will be considered appropriate. Any medication supplied or prescribed is subject to the healthcare professional's clinical judgement and the applicable pharmacy, prescribing and medicines requirements. Where CHECK’D introduces or refers you to an independent pharmacy, laboratory, clinic or other healthcare provider, that provider is responsible for the healthcare services it provides and for its own professional acts and omissions. CHECK’D is not responsible for consequences resulting from incorrect use of a test, failure to follow the instructions for use, inaccurate or incomplete information provided during a consultation, failure to follow professional medical advice, or use of medication contrary to the instructions provided. You should seek urgent medical attention where you have severe symptoms or believe that you require emergency medical care. CHECK’D Customer Support is not an emergency medical service. Privacy & Confidentiality Information provided to CHECK’D will be handled in accordance with our applicable privacy and data-protection obligations. Information provided directly to a pharmacy, laboratory, clinic or healthcare professional may also be subject to that provider's own privacy and confidentiality requirements. Limitation Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict any responsibility or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable Ghanaian law. By proceeding with the pharmacy consultation, you confirm that you have read and understood this information.
