Accra asked for more races to accommodate the running boom. Enter Gold Coast Run Gold Coast Run is a series of runs with the goal of meeting the demand for more good races in Accra. We believe in connecting the recreational runner and walker to the best experiences. Whether it’s to achieve a goal, to compete with yourself, to connect with your personal story, or to scratch an itch and just have fun, Gold Coast Run is the right event for you. Organized by runners, Gold Coast Run thoughtfully curates running and walking experiences with the recreational runner and walker in mind. Whether it’s a 5K, a 10K, or longer, three things are guaranteed at Gold Coast Run: fun, fulfilment, and safety.
We told you we’d be back.

We're bringing two distances.
5K or 10K. Both start and finish at the Athletic Oval, University of Ghana. Both run through one of the most scenic stretches of road in Accra - shaded, quiet, and just challenging enough to make the finish line feel earned.
