Why We Use Sustainable Printing

When we launched our merch line, one of the first decisions we made was that we would only work with printers using sustainable materials and processes. That meant saying no to cheaper overseas manufacturers and yes to a small print house right here in Accra that uses water-based inks, organic cotton, and low-waste production runs. Is it more expensive? Yes. Does it slow us down? Sometimes. But every tee we sell uses around 90% less water than a conventional print, every hoodie is made from recycled cotton blends, and every piece of packaging is either recyclable or compostable. We are not perfect, and we are still learning, but we believe that how you make something matters just as much as what you make.
