Meet Our Flavour Lab
When people tour our studio, the first room they see is the kitchen. The second is the flavour lab — a small back-room workspace where we prototype every new flavour before it ever reaches a mould. We thought we would give you a tour, since we do not talk about it enough.
## What Happens in the Lab
- **Ideation sessions** with our founder and head flavour developer
- **Small-batch trials** (usually 10 pops at a time) to test sweetness and texture
- **Blind tastings** with staff and trusted regulars before anything goes on sale
- **Ingredient sourcing** calls with farmers and local suppliers
- **Final recipe sign-off** that gets documented and archived for reproducibility
It is a slow process, and on purpose. Most flavours spend 6-10 weeks in the lab before they become a product you can buy. If you have an idea for a flavour you would love to see us make, book a Custom Flavour Design session — we actually get our best ideas from the people who eat our pops.
