Our Top 5 Bridal Silhouettes This Season
Bridal tastes shift every year, and 2026 has brought some of the most refined silhouettes we've seen in a while. Clean lines, light structure, and fabrics that move are dominating the briefs coming into our studio. Here are the five silhouettes we've been cutting most often this season, with notes on who they suit best.
## This Season's Top Five
1. **Column silhouette** — pure silk, minimal, best for tall or slender frames
2. **Fit-and-flare** — crepe bodice with a bias-cut skirt, flattering on most figures
3. **A-line with pockets** — the practical favourite, structured and comfortable
4. **Two-piece separates** — top and skirt in contrasting textures, great for reception changes
5. **Bonwire Kente accent gown** — contemporary white gown with traditional Kente detailing
Book a bridal consultation at least 6 months before your wedding date. Bridal commissions take longer than regular custom work because of the number of fittings and the complexity of the construction. Early booking also gives us time to source special fabrics from our mill contacts.
