Grown under shade net in two greenhouse blocks and drip-irrigated, which keeps them straight, even and unblemished. Cut in the cool of the morning and moved into the pack house within the hour.
Grade A is uniform, export-standard fruit for retailers and hotels. Grade B is perfectly good eating fruit that is bent or oversized — the same taste at a lower price, and what most kitchens actually buy. Both grades are sold by the 20kg crate or by the kilo.
